Our ecological approach
A house that’s good to live in (good food, decoration, travel, wellness…) is a reccurent theme today. It corresponds to our deep need to find keys of wellness in mind, relationship, environment. We are susceptible to these values, and to personal development, so we practice all that keep us an harmonious life.
We take holidays in inspiring place. The “Amanins” housefarm is a destination that gives us motivation to do ecological and engaged tourism. We did permaculture with woofers, we made bread and sheep cheese with the farmer. We took care of animals, and milked sheep. This is responsible holidays, with an educational and participating way to do. We are avid tourists of these steps. And we practice respectful acts for environment, for open-mind and for social connection.
Renovation : building
La Maison de Denise was entirely renovated. We had to clean up and removed decoration and concrete slab. Then we could install electricity, plumbing, lime slab, red hexagonal floor tile, lime and hemp rendering… All is renovated in respect of old built up. Our friends are trained in SCIC ECLIS, at Quévert (22), and they studied global built up project. Their projects are inexpensive, ecologic, reproducible, and well appropriated to territory. Greg and Paul helped us to put forward our daily building site. We are grateful to José that installed all electricity.
Renovation : Decoration
We love DIY (Do It Yourself) too and we had singled out simplicity, natural way to do, and functionality. Renovated-furnitures gives us personal satisfaction. We want to make people aware of recycling instead of throw-down/buy-new cycle. We search for furniture in secondhand or in car-boot sale. We ran up cushion, futon and lamp in order to bring a warming mood on this hollidays and relaxing place.
